Watkins Glen State Park is one of the top 10 US State Parks in 2015 10Best Readers’ Choice award. This New York state park offers gorgeous gorge views in every season. we visit this fall as part of our 2016 foliage trip. The main attraction is the Gorge Trail with 832 stone stairs all the way up. Then visitors can ride shuttle back from the top. We walk back from Indian Trail instead. Note: The Watkins Glen Trolley runs weekends only until July 4th and then runs daily after.
