Old San Juan
2021 – Second visit
This is the second time we visited Puerto Rico. We are taking a cruise from Puerto Rico so have 1 day pre cruise and 1 day post cruse.
We stayed at Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino (by the convention center and NCL cruise port). Took the shuttle bus from hotel which dropped us off at Plaza Colon, from there we did a walking tour of old San Juan revisiting some of the places we visited last time and retelling stories to kids from our last visit.
Castillo San Cristobal
Castillo San Felipe del Morro
from 2012 – we also saw iguana
Plaza del Quinto Centenario
We were looking for the fountain, no water this time.
Story from 2012
We did not know about the fountain, it was November 2012 and a hot day. When we passed by the fountain so many kids were running around in them, of course who can resist that, kids ran in. Jayden still had training diapers and after running around in the fountain the diaper was so heavy/full of water, it was pulling down. They had so much fun
Park of the Pigons
Story from 2012-
Jayden 3 at the time was crying because he didn’t want to walk and the minute he saw the pigons he was happy – pictures from 2012
Street ice cream
This time they had to use Spanish to buy their own ice cream
From 2012
