Orlando is a big cruise port, theme park and water park cluster. Almost all big-name entertainment operators are here, such as Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studio and Legoland. It also appeals medium entertainment venues performing here, such as Circus du Soleil. Not far from the city is the one and the only Kennedy Space Center and Famous Daytona 500. If you look closely, there are more hidden gems for you to explore. The city is growing quickly. Although not many natural attractions, all kinds of mega facilities are powerful enough to push the city to the highlight of the world.

Forget about Space Center @Houston. The Kennedy Space Center in Florida is the real deal. You can see rocket launch pads. You can tour fantastic rocket exhibits. You will enjoy awesome media presentation on various programs. The best of all, you can hear spaceflight stories from a real astronaut, ask questions and take photo with astronauts. Highly recommends Astronaut Encounter. Also don’t miss Apollo liftoff show at Apollo/Saturn V Center, original command center show, and shuttle launch experience at Space Shuttle Atlantis.
Audubon Center for Birds of Prey | Audubon Florida
Hidden gem of orlando – Audubon center for birds of prey. A rescue and rehab center. It’s small but kids really enjoyed the visit and learn about the rescued birds.
International Drive
A lot of things to do in International Drive resort area. Loads of shops in many types and loads of places to eat and drink in various budget ranges. Hotels are abundant in wide price range. You can also find small fun entertainments there, like iFly and WonderWorks.
Places Worth to Go
Although Disney is dominant in Orlando. SeaWorld is working out its own niche to attract tourists. Aquatica water park, Discovery Cove, and SeaWorld Orlando are waiting for your exploration. Busch Gardens is kind of far. It might fit you well if you are planing a side trip to Tampa Bay.
