Naples, also called Napoli in Italian, is the birth place of famous Neapolitan Pizza. It servers a great base for one-day trips to Capri, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Sorrento, or other destinations along Amalfi Coast.
Travel Tips
- take Amalfi Coast tour in small group under size of mini bus
- In Capri, take cable car up to town center. Walking down from town center to the harbor is about 10 minutes.
- In Capri, stairs between Arch Nature and are steep and not recommended for bad knee. Walk clockwise to avoid strenuous climbing. Take a island-circle boat ride if walk ain’t your thing. You can opt for Grotta Azzurra at the end of ride.

Lookout at GPS(40.545228, 14.255477) is great for Faraglioni but lookout at GPS(40.544812, 14.252892) can give you the best. A “Foto” paint on the road will lead you to that lookout for a panoramic view.

An view point overlooking Amalfi peninsula to Monte Castiglione. Stairs at the side of terrace can lead you to Marina Piccola for water play and Faraglioni closer look.
Capri – Charterhouse of St. Giacomo

Capri – Augustus Gardens – Via krupp
As of November 2017, Via Krupp is closed indefinitely. It can be viewed from above from the scenic overlook in the Augustus Gardens.

Amalfi Coast drive is so narrow that coach can only drive in counter clockwise of the route. Small bus will allow you to tour in opposite direction to avoid traffic jam and drive into towns.
