Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort, set on the shores of Lake Tremblant, is a famous ski resort near Montreal. We took on the resort’s two-night stay promotion during foliage season. Besides of colorful leaves, with many facilities to play and unlimited lift rides to the top of mountains, kids also enjoy very much. Nearby Mont-Tremblant National Park is a good stop by. Leave color makes sights spectacular and we have an unforgettable kayaking fun there.

Activity Center in Mont-Tremblant National Park offers many activities and a 4-hour Canoeing is so attractive to us. It is our second time of canoeing. The first time was in Vieques Bioluminescent Bay which went smooth. We thought this time’s gonna be the same and bravely booked 12-km trip. Starting off from a lake wasn’t too bad and everybody was smiling. When we turn into a narrower river with rapid, suddenly everything goes wiry. We hit a tree obstacle near a big rock and our canoe flipped. Kids were all soaked and got scared. After the boat flip, they didn’t talk or laugh for really a while. 12-km is surely too long while there are two not-talking persons on board. 4-hour long journey in activity description ain’t kidding. Rowing and rowing, we just can’t see the end point coming. Finally a bridge, the symbol of finish line, showed. I could not help myself to raise my hands high and hoary. The feeling of hope for a desperate person is so delightful that I still remember vividly all these time.
