Helsinki is totally a modern city. Tram network is convenience. All main attractions are in short walking distance from tram stations. Suomenlinna is a much longer walk especially going all the way to King’s Gate. Seniors in my group can not take long walk and we opt out.
Travel Tips
- Public transportation is easy and reliable between all major transportation hubs. You can buy tickets from driver by cash bills less than $20, no credit card. Daily pass includes water bus to Suomenlinna.
- No water bus at King’s Gate in Suomenlinna. You need to walk as a round trip.
