Freeport is the main city on Grand Bahamas Island. We visited Freeport on a Timeshare package. Since kids were very little at age of 1 and 3, we didn’t go far but enjoyed resort private beach and downtown most of time. Besides of shopping in downtown, you also can find dolphin encounter tour which taking you to the facility through a boat ride. Fare is cheaper than what in Nassau. Nearby outdoor attraction is Lucayan National Park. We did not have a chance to see its beauty but definitely it is in our Grand Bahamas bucket list in our next visit.
