Bavaria 14-day Palaces/Castles tickets

We were in Bavaira for about a week and planned to visit many of the Bavaria palaces/castles. This 14-day tickets for Family covers 2 adults and kids. The price was 66 Euro (in 2022) for family tickets. Check website for more information and list of covered places.

Dachau Palace and garden is included.

Dachau Concentration Camp is free to visit. We spent about 2 hours, but one could easily spend more time in the exhibits.

Parking

Parking lot for Dachau concentration camp is at parking at Alte Römerstraße 73, fee is 3 Euro (in 2022). We were able to find street parking right across the street from the parking lot entrance.

Dachau Palace has a small parking lot by the palace.


Dachau Concentration Camp

Dachau concentration camp was the first concentration camp built, the camp was in use from 1933 to 1945. The Exhibition is very detailed with history about the rise of Nazi and the Nazi camp system and specific history of Dachau concentration camp.

Dachau Palace Garden

Dachau Palace was closed when we visited (they open Wednesday to Sunday), we were there on a Tuesday. There’s a nice view of Dachau city. The Palace Garden was open and it’s a beautiful Garden for a quick stroll.
