Info Rothenburg ob der Tauber is not to be confused with another Rothenburg in Saxony, Germany. It’s a walled city and parking inside the wall is difficult. Our hotel was right outside the wall and had free parking. We were able to easily walk into town from the hotel. We stayed at Gasthof Hotel Bezold. […]

Warnemunde is a Baltic cruise port serving cruiser to Berlin and other closer attractions. Instead of Berlin shore excursion, we drive to Schwerin and Lubeck on our own. Lübeck is quite nice an old town. Old-day atmosphere mixes modern shops in great balance. Schwerin Castle is a good stop. We didn’t find interesting things in Restock though. […]
Our Ireland grand tour is a whole Ireland circle route including North Ireland. This clockwise tour starts from Dublin, followed by Glendalough, Cashel, Killarney, Doolin, Clifden, Sligo, Londonderry and Belfast, and eventually goes back Dublin. Sightseeing from Killarney all the way up to Belfast are best among all. There are numerous scenic drives on the west. […]

Not going to say anything here. The only attraction is Windor Castle. Check photos.
This is a day-trip from Edinburgh. Top attraction is Stirling Castle. What else did we do there? It has been more than 10 years ago. I can not remember anymore…ORZ. Here are special thanks to a Taiwanese girl we met in the town. She was a solo traveler and walked with us around the town. […]
Without a car, we did a Scottish highland through a local tour company. Although the tour took us all the way to Loch Ness, I felt the itinerary didn’t cover the best of Scotland fully. Definitely I will try self-drive tour next time. Scotland is very scenery. Unfortunately the bus didn’t make a lot of […]
We arrived Edinburgh by train and walked over to our hotel. The town is small that walking tours are easy fits for all major attractions. The town is old that our hotel looks like a castle-like stone house with steep and narrow staircases. Every corner of streets tell the stories of its rich history. Edinburgh […]
