Avlia

Wall of Avila

The ancient fortified Avila is a UNESCO World Heritage site. For an small entrance fee (5 Euro when we visited) you can go up and walk sections of the wall.

Mirador de los Cuatro Postes (Viewpoint of the Four Posts)

A great viewpoint so see the panoramic view of the entire walls of Avila.


Salamanca

Plaza Mayor

There was some event when we visited so the whole plaza view was blocked a bit. Still a beautiful plaza in Salamanca. Of course have to have churro for breakfast. Found a little pastry shop in Plaza Mayor that was perfect.

Roman Bridge

Roman Bridge also known as Puente Mayor del Tormes is a Roman bridge crossing the Tormes River on the banks of the city of Salamanca.

Salamanca Cathedral

We bought the ticket to visit the Cathedral tower and roof.

Salamanca University/Town

Salamanca is a university town, buildings of Salamanca university are all over the old town. The library is beautiful and worth a visit.
