Caceres is a UNESCO world heritage site. The walled old town is very nice to walk around either day or night.
Cáceres Plaza Mayor Square
On the left side of the square is the old town and on the right hand side is modern shops and restaurants. Our hotel was right next to the square.
Church of San Francisco and Jesuit school
Torre de Bujaco
The Tower was built in Moorish style. Climb to the top for a great view of the city.

Walking around Old town
One of the attraction is the Museo, the city museum located at Casa de las Veletas and Casa de los Caballos not only for the art but to see the Arabic aljibe (water cistern). Unfortunately the museum was closed when we visited.
