Amistad National Recreation area is close to Del Rio. On our drive from Big Bend National Park to San Antionio it was a quick stop to Strech our legs but we didn’t have lots of time to explore. We stopped by the visitor center and did a very short 0.3 mile trail to the Amistad lake – Diablo East trail.
