We arrived the area from sea and disembarked at Whittier port. Since we were a large group, we booked a private shuttle and were able to enjoy attractions along the way to Seward. We stops at Portage Glacier, Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, Canyon Creek and also get into Kenai Fjords National Park to visit Exit Glacier. You could do all above in one day and spend another day to visit Kenai Fjords National Park from sea. Don’t miss a scenic train ride between Anchorage and Seward. Glaciers and nice mountain views are along the way. The train also stops half way at Girdwood to accommodate Alyeska tourists.
Alaska Sealife Center are good places for seniors and kids to stroll around. Take these when you have more time in Seward.
