This 10-day tour is a grand one way itinerary covering Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Glacier National Park, and Waterton Lakes National Park. Yellowstone and Grand Teton are sibling national parks that you definitely plan in one trip. Glacier and Waterton Lakes make another pair. If you have more time to travel, you could combine all four together as we did, although at the cost of a 8 hour drive. So one way itinerary is a must. Good news is that the flight fare of Yellowstone inbound and Glacier outbound + one way car rental fee may just be in the same price range as round trip flight from Yellowstone. Montana country scenery is a bit of boring though.
Trip Highlights
- find flights to all airports around Yellowstone National Park: Jason Hole Airport, Yellowstone Airport, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, and Billings Logan International Airport. Jason Hole Airport is the top choice not considering fare price.
- multi-city flight fare plus one-way car rental fee between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks may just be as competitive as round-trip flight to/from Yellowstone.
